“Stopped in after we went to a nearby competitor who was closed at 10:30 am on a Friday, and I'm glad we did. After we told the owner, Steve, about our safe lock that was frozen, he came out to our car and carried in our very heavy safe. He couldn't have been more accomodating. We had two keys made while we were there and he said he'd let us know when our safe was ready. 20 minutes later we got a call saying the safe was good to go and we drove right over and picked it up – again, he carried the safe out to our car. This is the epitome of old school craftsmanship and customer service and for that reason, we will definitely be coming back when the need arises. I strongly recommend Preferred Safe and Lock!”

“Steve is the man!!! I had a complex boat key that needed to be duplicated, and he was able to do it in a few minutes without any trouble. I also had security doors installed in my home, and all were unfortunately differently keyed. In less than 20 minutes, he was able to synchronize the security doors and main doors with the same key. “I had locked myself out of my house over the holiday weekend and called the first 24 hour locksmith I found on Google. A young man came out to the house, told me he was forced to drill the lock and charged an exorbitant
price for the drilling and replacement lock. After being paid in cash, he agreed to return the following day to re-key the locks to match other door locks at the residence. After several attempts to reach both he and the company to complete the job I realized I had been scammed.
I then called Preferred, explained the situation, and requested that they come to finish the job. A wonderful locksmith came out this very afternoon and did an exceptional job replacing and re-keying knobs and locks.
I don’t know how to thank these folks! They have restored my faith in human nature!!
I very strongly recommend this company to anyone in need of a locksmith and wish that there was some way that their contact information could be the initial Google go-to for emergency situations!”
